Hello wordpress!

Okay, I think I will give wordpress a try since I have read so much about it. Eventually I would like to have this hosted on my own server at my own domain, but I will start here. If this goes as good as my Blogger blog I will not be writing much at all here as I usually have very little to say and I lack the motivation to keep it current. In any case if you happened to pass by this blog by mistake I suggest to keep right on moving as it will have nothing to hold anyone’s attention.

P.S Everything prior to this post is from other blogs that I imported over.

Common Firefox extension equivalents in Opera

Here is a good article I found on digg that could help those Firefox users switch to a really good browser, Opera. LOL!

With the Free Registration key Opera is giving away today, a lot of Firefox users are moaning about the extensions they are missing. This website lists a number of common Firefox extensions and their Opera equivalents (internal or external).

Oh how insecure Blogger is!

I just notices that when I put the link in my last post to my moblog at TextAmerica.com they change the link so it’s directed to http://d3a1i0.blogspot.com/d3a1i0.textamerica.com which is not correct of course. It’s http://d3a1i0.textamerica.com, and they won’t let me change it. I checked the HTML twice and it’s correct, but when I publish it it’s changes to point to the wrong address. C’mon Blogger! It’s not that bad. It’s two different types of blogs even though you now have the ability to post pics from your phone on Blogger. TextAmerica has a totally different look and templates. Not designed to have posts like Blogger.

Moblog and life update

I started a Moblog at textamerica.com. Not many photos yet, but I’m going to try and carry my camera with me more. It should be fun, but I don’t go places very often. I am usually stuck to the chair I’m sitting while making this post. Using the new Word add-on from Blogger, I might add. I think is good since I usually write a post in Word and copy it over to my browser anyway.

Life is getting pretty boring now. I can’t believe it, but I think I need to either get a job or start getting out of the house more often. I am trying to get a job. I don’t want to make it seem like I’m not. I really want to get a job in programming or computers some how. I need to get better with follow ups. I think that’s why I don’t get any responses to my applications. I have decided that I have a lot of good skills, and I really feel good about that. I just need a chance to use them in a job instead of just in school.
